Youth Empowerment

For a better, tomorrow youth empowerment is core for it not only improve financial dependency of youths but also help them improve their living standards. It is our mandate at Jijenge Youth to empower the street children as we create awareness with guidance towards developing a wholesome outlook of life. Our Youth empowerment is pursued by promoting youth rights and youth activism.

Empowerment is necessarily a process of inculcating values to equip the street children to lead a life that is satisfying to the individual well being as per the cherished values and ideals of the society.

Jiamini Jitokeze Jijenge

This is a menstrual hygiene program basically started to empower and support menstruators. During Jitokeze! Jiamini! sessions we educate girls on why it’s important to maintain good hygiene during periods. Not only do we educate them but we also provide them with menstrual hygiene products. In order to reach out to many girls with adequate resources, we are working hand in hand with PERIOD


Milk on wheels

WINAM JIJENGE YOUTH is committed to helping the neediest among the vulnerable community. We thus say it wise to start a program that would see that the street children are able to get free milk at least once a week. This program was rolled out to help us gain the trust of the boys. Meals on Wheels

WINAM JIJENGE YOUTH cares for every member of the community, no matter what their background or situation may be. Our Meals on Wheels program involves a passionate group of volunteers coming together and providing a charitable service for those who need it most. We do visit community centres at least once a month sharing meals and as we donate the essential basic item to them. Lend a helping hand and join our efforts today
